Classic Pulp Science Fiction by S.P. Meek (Unexpurgated Edition) (Halcyon Classics)
This Halcyon Classics ebook contains twelve early science fiction stories by Sterner St. Paul Meek. Meek (1894-1972) was a U.S. army chemist and writer. His career had two distinct phases. He wrote science fiction stories for various pulps such as Astounding Stories during the 1920 and early 1930s while he was an active-duty officer. He largely abandoned science fiction after 1933. Meek usually wrote under his real name and title, thus his works appear as by “Captain S.P. Meek” or “Colonel S.P. Meek.” After retiring as a full colonel in 1947, Meek devoted himself to writing children’s books until 1956.
